Catholics and other Christian young people in Bangladesh have combined their efforts to study faith challenges in the face of what they see as growing materialism and consumerism.

About 40 Christian students attended a day-long life sharing and faith advocacy seminar in Dhaka on July 16, reports.

The dialogue program was organized by The Ecumenical Asia Pacific Students and Youth Network (EASY NET), a voluntary network of youth and student movements in Asia and the Pacific, including the Young Christian Students (YCS), Bangladesh Catholic Students Movement (BCSM) and other Christian groups.

Participants told that the workshop helped them face the various challenges to their life of faith.
