Cardijn Community International (CCI) plans to bring out a training module on Cardinal Joseph Cardijn’s time tested See-Judge-Act method. The module is expected to cater to all organisations and congregations within the Church and those outside the Church.

Inaugurating the three day Training of Trainers (TOT) on Review of Life through See-Judge-Act at Salem on Wednesday, December 8, the Bishop of Salem Most Rev. Singarayar highlighted the call of Vatican II for increased lay participation. While acknowledging the effectiveness of See-Judge-Act method in the life and action of the individuals and the community, he stressed the need for participatory evaluation.

Families are no more the recipients of the Church but they have become the subjects of pastoral action, he said.

The 3 daCardijn Community Internationaly TOT was attended by selected lay leaders and animators including Fr. Thomas Joseph, 91, YCW and CWM chaplain since 1950 and former Executive Secretary to the CBCI Commission for Labour.

M. J. Ruben, CCI International Convenor facilitated the training.

According to Xavier Anthony, President of CCI-India, a training module on See-Judge-Action will be published soon. “The module will be the first of its kind at the international level”, he added.
