We are happy to inform that the International Forum and General Assembly of the Cardijn Community International (CCI) will be held on the 23rd and 24th July 2011 in Bangkok, Thailand.


Objectives of the General Assembly

• Getting together all CCI members and Cardijn followers from all over the world
• To share how the formation in Cardijn movements is motivating our involvement in the present context
• Sharing and consolidation of testimonies by leaders/animators
• Have an overview of the global reality and the need for multi-pronged approach
• To plan for events/activities/campaigns/networking/training/publications/media/resource center, etc. in response to the discovery made
• Plan to promote Cardijn’s vision, spirituality and methodology (SEE-JUDGE-ACT)
• Plan for commemoration of 50 years of Vatican II (Vatican II + 50 Project)

International Forum

An international forum on ‘Peace Building towards Sustainable Development’ will be part of the General Assembly.


Who can attend?

• All CCI members and their team members
• All those who had been members of Cardijn movements (both leaders and animators) – in brief all Cardijn followers even if they function under different organisations or networks
• Current leaders/animators from Cardijn movements who wish to be part of our efforts to promote Cardijn

Registration

Delegates to the CCI International Forum and General Assembly 2011 can register their names through their national/regional CCI groups or directly with the International Convenor at cardijncommunity@hotmail.com or by snail mail to the above address.

A token solidarity registration fee will be collected at the venue.

The travel expenses to reach the venue shall be borne by the individual delegates.

Accommodation and food will be provided to the delegates from dinner on 22nd July 2011 till lunch on the 25th July 2011.

Accommodation and food at the above venue shall be made available till the evening of 26th July 2011 for those who wish to stay at a minimal cost.


Start preparing

We welcome all CCI members and Cardijn followers to the CCI IF&GA 2011 at Bangkok to celebrate Cardijn and his heritage.

We suggest that you look for offers from budget airlines and book your tickets online immediately.
