Photography course for Mumbai's Joseph Cardijn Tech students

The Quintet Travelographers group has conducted a session on Basics of Photography at the Joseph Cardijn Technical School, Dadar, in Mumbai, India in February.

The Joseph Cardijn Technical School is an English Medium Industrial Training Centre established in 1965 and is owned and administered by the Archdiocese. It is affiliated to the Government of India’s National Council for Vocational Training. (N.C.V.T.). The Technical School is located at Dadar East and offers a variety of courses in Motor Mechanics, Electrical and Carpentry Work, Computers, etc.

The School imparts hands on technical education in its core competency to students not academically inclined and to drop-outs with a view to making them employable. This institute has over the years, sought to further the career prospects of the students who train here.



Quintet’s session introduced the students to the fundamentals of photography. Photos taken by the students were also critiqued and certificates were awarded to the participants.
