Cardijn Association: Looking after immigrants

The Cardijn Association in Spain is working to defend the rights of immigrant workers.

La Voz Digital in Cadiz quotes them asking the following question in relation to the rights of immigrants to bring their families with them: Desde las asociaciones de inmigrantes a otras organizaciones pro inmigrantes como Cardijn se ha lanzado ya una pregunta obvia: si muchos de ellos vienen para cuidar a nuestros padres, ¿por qué no pueden cuidar también de los suyos desde el primer momento?

"Immigrant organisations and other organisations working with immigrants like the Cardijn Association have already asked the obvious question: If so many immigrants come here to look after our old people and parents, why can't they look after their own parents from the beginning?"
